Indian Club Fitness Exercise Program
Several years ago, I developed an interest in the golf swing and particularly the muscles involved. I thoroughly researched the studies, published articles, and books on the subject. It became apparent that there was not a single effective exercise and conditioning program specific for golf . Indian clubs, which were popular at the turn of the century, proved to be the perfect vehicle.
We have developed a series of twelve exercises that emphasize range of motion of joints, balance and coordination, and strengthening the core muscles. It is a simple program that takes twenty minutes a day.
Studies have shown that participating in this program increases clubhead speed and driving distance, resulting in lower handicaps. Anyone over the age of forty-five years of age doing this program will retain the range of motion of their joints, retain balance and help prevent injury.
