Weightlifting is not an all or nothing event. There's plenty of gray area in training style. This is the best of the 1970's to 1980's style high pull. The 1990's were the transition of style years. This is the best of the 2000's to 2017 style high pull.
It's not the weight. I want you to notice that the height of the bar relative to the shoulders is higher 2017. The lowness of the body relative to the shoulders height is also different. Who's quicker? The shorter distance is quicker. W x D / T = P
